The Hot Dog Car
Ah, that cool box that is Zombicide NPC 1. And the coolest of them is the hot dog man. It just hit me that a thematic vehicle to go with him would be fun to make.
First step is a hot dog. Model... model... model... print. One plastic hot dog with removable top.
The parts print in the upright position and very little support is needed.
Then a flat piece of plastic for a floor and some metal pins in the top piece holes to keep it in place.

Next, a cheap car. Almost any 1/43 car should do. Let's see what $5 will get me...
Kinsmart 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Cotton Candy Pink 2 Door Coupe 1/43 O Scale Diecast Car
Okay.
The bottom of the hot dog get traced on the top of the car. Holes are drilled on the lines and the parts snap out like perforated postage stamps. The metal is really weak.
The plastic parts come out of the car. They get saved for later.

The hot dog gets glued into the car body.
Interior parts of the original car, such as the dashboard, steering wheel, etc. are glued inside the hot dog.

The car gets painted. A logo is printed out and glued onto the side.
If you're interested in trying this yourself, below are the two STL files for the hot dog and a PDF with the logo. Enjoy!

And then if you need a drink with that dog, look for toy food trucks. They are very inexpensive and already painted.
