Guillotine...
This game might sound a bit creepy, but it's a lot of fun. Easy to learn, with lots of variety in what happens. The premise is the players are all executioners during the French Revolution. They take turns at the guillotine, collecting points for the more prestigious "clients". The more hated by the crowd, the more points. And negative points for "clients" that the crowd sympathizes with. And so to work the queue, players can play action cards reorder, trip, more forward, get two for one, etc.
The game comes in a cardboard box with a cardboard guillotine. This ends up a lunch time game often and so I sleeved the cards. Which then don't fit in the box. And the cardboard guillotine is a bit flimsy.

So, a wooden box from a craft shop, some bits of wood for box dividers, and some wooden bits to form a... wooden guillotine. The guillotine had to be cut in half to fit in the box. Some magnets make reassembly very easy.
